Google User Data

Polaris Pathways uses Google OAuth to let staff connect their Google (Gmail/Workspace) accounts so the platform can send email on their behalf, detect replies and bounces, and sync CRM meetings to Google Calendar. When you connect your account, we access:

Your email address and basic profile (openid, email);
The ability to send mail as you (gmail.send);
Read-only access to your message headers/metadata to detect replies and bounces (gmail.readonly) — we read header metadata only, never message bodies or content;
Your calendars, to create and update events for CRM meetings (calendar).

Polaris Pathways’ use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google user data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not transfer it to others except as necessary to provide or improve these features, to comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger or acquisition with adequate notice to users. Connected-account tokens are stored encrypted, and you may disconnect your account at any time, which revokes our access.
